SUMMARY

(1) LeC.3488 scheme run on J.B.1V. car because nothing else available at time.

(2) Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}415 scheme developed to save cost - approx. £1. cheaper than LeC.3488 scheme and utilise thermostat unit made in large quantities.

(3) ECD.182 scheme adopted to save cost. (approx 15/- cheaper than LeC.3488 scheme) and in order to take advantage of experience with thermostat unit used in Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}415 scheme, while reducing water pressure to which unit is subjected.
