CJ5/E12/9/24 - 2 - To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from CJ. when you have finished with them, should return directly to Derby. I have to go to Liverpool to-morrow. In any case I am quite in accord with your proposals and I shall be seeing you, I hope, on Tuesday. So far as I can understand, Firth's position is that they cannot afford to continue to make a series of sample springs of different designs for us and that their finances will not allow them to do anything except to make springs of a definite design which has been decided upon by us and for which we are prepared to give a considerable order. I should think they are very short of money and that their attitude is reasonable. We must be careful that we do not fall down between two stools. CJ. Eno. COPY | ||
