MYTH FRONT SUSPENSION.
-----------------------

PL.436, attached to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's copy, shows the front pan and the rubber mounting of the Myth front suspension.

The pan is made up of 3 pressings in order to facilitate pressing, the separate pieces being fastened together by spotwelding along the flanges.

Two further pressings are spotwelded to the top of the pan to enclose the rubber pads used for insulation between the suspension and the frame and these pressings have extensions towards the centre of the car for the mounting of the steering box and steering idler lever, which will be shewn fully on PL.448.
