| -2- It will no doubt be pointed out that the experiment mentioned above was conducted with the traction type tread cover; on the other hand, the triple studded tread suffers from a very similar noise, though I think slightly less aggressive, and it is perhaps a little easier to recognise that the noise comes from the tyres, and not from our axle.
