Status update report on various chassis, detailing their progress with coachbuilders, testing, and component fitting.

12.B.V.
This Chassis is now at the Coachbuilders having a body fitted and is due back by the end of the month. The Unit allocated for this chassis is B.V.No.5. LK.{L. King} reported that the necessary details to complete the specification would be O.K.

14.B.V.Continental.
This chassis is now at the Coachbuilders in France, and according to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls} should be back in early May. LK.{L. King} reported that all details to suit 12 x 41 rear axle were progressing satisfactorily and would not hold up the car. An all Helical Overdrive Gear Box is also to be fitted ( see note on Gear Boxes) It has been decided to fit Wraith III No.10 Unit, to this car for 15,000 miles trials.

3.B.50.15,000 miles test.
This car is now back from the Coachbuilders and is being brought up to the specification for 15,000 miles trials. It was agreed that B.V.No.3 Gear Box with standard ratio gears should be fitted, pending the completion of an all Helical Standard Ratio Box, which if not ready in time is to be sent out to the car in France. Engine Unit B.60.No.4 is promised by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}off the Test bed for Friday 21.4.39. RH.{R. Hollingworth} anticipated completing the car ready for test by the end of the month, pending the Steering Wheel being available.

4.B.50.
This frame has now been received from the frame makers and is being marked up. W. was requested to review specification to see if all was clear. A note has been sent to Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}questioning the radiator and bonnet which is not yet instructed.
