The tests are to be carried out on certain hills in the South of France in the neighbourhood of St Raphael, Cannes, Montecarlo, Castellane and Ventimiglia. We are rather anxious to know exactly what are the gradients of the hills in this neighbourhood, and I shall be glad if you could obtain for me maps showing the contour and gradients of the important hills in this district. I have of course the Michelin Guide of France but this does not give any information concerning the hills. I am sure however such maps must be published and you can probably obtain them quite easily in London. Will you kindly do what you can. | ||
