To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} x5000 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} 7/MJ. 5.11.30. X.5050. X.5000. 20 HP. CAST IRON CYLINDER BLOCK AND CRANKCASE IN ONE UNIT. R.{Sir Henry Royce} is still very interested in this type of construction. Experimentally we still believe it will improve the smoothness of our power unit. From a production point of view we believe it would be one of the biggest economies that could be effected in the design of the chassis. Under the circumstances we should like to get a casting as soon as possible. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
