MINUTES OF TESTERS' MONTHLY CONFERENCE
4.2.41 - 9.30 a.m.

Present: Mr./Mym. Mr./HD.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} Mr./C'ton.
Mr./ACHH. Mr./Oal. Mr./EAG.
Mr./FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} Mr./Fred Hallam. Mr./Frank Hallam.

1. BRAKE EQUALISATION 8-CYLINDER CARS.
Alternative linings having a greater capacity for heat resistance have been ordered.

2. SPRINGS & GAITERS.
HUBERY OWEN are going to deliver the spring covers, and Clapham will give a delivery date.

3. STEERING.
Mr./FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} will search the Stores for the pivots with reduced out-of-centre point steering and will let Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} know definitely whether they are available or not before Monday, February 10th.

4. SUNSHINE ROOF.
It was agreed that, without actually pulling the bodies to pieces, it was difficult to give the sunshine roof frame the necessary anti-corrosion treatment. All the roofs on Experimental cars should, however, be fitted up with a new type felt and any other improvement.

Mr./EAG. will give a list of those which have been treated at the next conference.

5. LAMP.
Mr./Wym{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} will urge the switch.

6. BODY MOUNTING.
Still waiting for the rubbers. Will go forward as soon as these arrive.
