V3465 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/C20/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 20. 5. 24. 40/50 HP. CHASSIS. STEERING WHEEL. We have instructed the Order Office to send in to your Department three steering wheels, F.10440 and F.10447. The first mentioned are our present standard type and size of steering wheel on which a collar has been added around each spoke adjacent to the ebonite, in accordance with American practice. We are not particularly interested in wheels F.10440, but in regard to F.10447, these are the larger diameter wheels (18" diameter) with a section of rim in between the present standard and the Dover, and have been produced in view of Sales' comments on the latter. We shall be glad if you will submit one of these wheels to Sales Dept. Perhaps you will arrange to get the new type of wheel standardized at an early date. BY/C. | ||
