"EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}" Derby. COPY. Ps36/VW10.4.26. re. Lubricating Oils for Rolls-Royce Cars. --------------------------------------- With reference to your Instruction Sheet No 521 we regret to notice you have failed to mention "Toneline" oils for France, which oils have been successfully and exclusively used and recommended by us for several years. Furthermore, the organisation of the makers of these oils is such that suitable oils can be obtained in almost every town and village in France. Samples of these oils together with the specification were sent to and approved by Works at the outset. They are in fact compound oils and very similar to Prices, they having been specially made up to that end. Will you kindly look into this matter and recommend your customers to use these oils when in France. Ps. | ||
