For the attention of Mr. Hives.

Dear Sirs,

In reference to Mr. Alec Lodge's recent visit, and your request that we should submit to you samples of our new Steatite insulator plug.

We have pleasure in sending your herewith 1/2 dozen Model Z.18.C. and 1/2 dozen Model Z.19.C. Lodge Steatite experimental plugs. These plugs are identical with the exception of the shape of the end of the insulator, one having more clearance than the other.

We shall be glad if you will kindly submit these plugs to an exhaustive test, and advise us as to whether you consider them suitable for your cars.

Yours faithfully,
