The present transfer on the jack tank is worded as follows: "Use Castrolio or DWS Jack Fluid only". We recommend for 'C' Series the following procedure, that the jack systems are filled at the Works with Sessions' No.2 Fluid and that the transfer on the tank should read "See instruction book for correct fluid". In the instruction book we should tell customers that when requiring more fluid for the jack system we recommend if possible, that special fluid obtainable at the Rolls-Royce Depots should be used, but that if it is not possible Wakefield's Castrolio could be used instead.
