We beg to thank you for your letter of the 9th inst., with regard to the scale which you have marked off, and asking us to give you a hand marked dial for the single line installation. We had assumed that it was to be fitted to a tank as shown on your drawing NSCH 3144, both as regards the height of the installation on the turret of the tank, and by scaling the contour of this tank the calibration would appear to be approximately the same as the gauge set No. K.S.480. We do not consider that the scale which you have 245.7 M.P.H! WORLD'S RECORD. CAPTAIN MALCOLM CAMPBELL'S NAPIER ENGINED "BLUE BIRD" WAS FITTED WITH CLAUDEL HOBSON CARBURETTERS. | ||
