To FHC from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /TMW. X4105R EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T20.6.25. X.4105R. CUTOUT CONTACT POINT EXPERIMENTS. Herewith we hand to you three pairs of gold-silver cutout contact points which are some of a quantity which have been made and supplied to us by Messrs. W.H. Reynolds, instead of by Messrs. Johnson Matthey. It is ruled that these must not be used on production until they have been subjected to experimental test. We have already cutout contact point experiments allocated to chassis 6-GII, 7-GII, GF.68, 8-GIII, 44-PK and 98-NK, so that the chassis available for the fitting of these points are 9-G3, 10-G3, 5-EX, 46-PK, 93-NK, 7-EX and 8-EX. We shall be pleased if you will select three chassis from this group and have the cutout contact points changed from the present standard to these three sets made by Messrs. Reynolds. At the same time, in view of the fact that we have called for definite rigidity on production of the fixed contact pillar, will you please also carry out this change to rigidity on the three distribution boards to which you fit these points. Would you kindly inform us in due course which three chassis are affected. EEC. | ||
