Re. 19-EX. CAR.

We attach herewith copies of reports we have received from G.W.Hancock. For some reason which he has not explained he has only sent one copy of these reports. This is the reason they have not been circulated. We are asking him to send extra copies.

The chief interest we have in 19-EX. car is the shock absorbers and these have been instructed up for production, therefore most of the work which has been done out there on this car is in connection with shock absorbers.

Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will be at Chateauroux(French test region) with the Bensport(Codename for 3 1/2-litre Bentley) next Monday. He will be staying there two or three days and going over the results obtained on 19-EX. He will return with 19-EX. at the end of the week. We expect him back in Derby on either Friday or Saturday.
