Chaps. III & IV.
Chapter VII in American book is perhaps too brief and scrappy. But, in spite of almost complete neglect by owner the electrical system on P.I's in U.S. in actual guarantee service-work costs less than five percent of total.
Electrical system on P.II is even more carefully done and should amount to a very small item in necessary attention.
Are not these two chapters excessively lengthy compared with the importance of the electrical items?

We like to say at the head of this chapter (see p.77) "Leave it alone", and to list conveniently -
(a) Correct lamp bulbs (legal requirements)
(b) Firing order.

Suggest in chapter IV principal question in owner's mind is "Where is the battery and how do I get at it?" Suggest this needs a description and a picture on a completed car.

(p.67) Hand Control. Concerns driving practice and is dealt with elsewhere.

(p.68) Klaxon Horn. See earlier note re buzzer horn.

(p.72) List of Electrical Conductors. Is this considered necessary? Will require revision for modified switching.

(p.75) Note re reduced-rate charging switch.
