To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to CJ. BJ. c. to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Hdy.{William Hardy} X4263 R2/M22. 7.22. X.4264 X.4263. Regarding the steering of the Goshawk, we are very anxious to know the result of the long stroke spring buffers and I have also thought it possible that a longer steer-ing pendulum lever might be desirable especially in the case of the "D" steering, where the steering box is in a higher position relative to the front springs.
