With reference to the new spring F.82412 for Phantom ll shock damper connecting links : This spring is .160" longer (in free length) than the present standard heavy loading spring F.79914. There is difficulty in assembling the connecting link due to having to compress the spring before the screwed portion of the bottom pad F.79453 can be engaged in its threads in the connecting link.
