| BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Cgh. {W Clough} D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /B.16.4.35 ALL CHASSIS - CONCAVE LIGHTING FOR INSTRUMENTS. We are now advised by Messrs. Smith & Sons that they propose to commence delivery of instruments with concave dials and larger trip and mileage figures for the 20/25 and 40/50 HP. chassis in 8/9 weeks' time from now, but are doing everything possible to try and improve on this, in which case the Works should commence fitting these instruments as follows :- 46th. chassis in U.2. series - 40/50 HP. chassis. 1st. chassis in J.2. series - 20/25 HP. chassis. In regard to the Bentley chassis, instruments with larger trip and mileage figures are expected in 8 weeks' time from now, in which case the Works should commence fitting these on the 190th. chassis in 'E' series.
