SPARKING PLUGS

X.3413.
X.1818.

We have now carried out sufficient tests to know that the Lodge porcelain plug C9 type gives better results in our engine than the K.L.G. The Lodge plugs have been tested for 100 hours on the Bench and have run over a thousand miles on the road. The tests have been very critical because we were fullyaware of the troubles we have had with the K.L.G. plugs.
The K.L.G. people have submitted to us some improved plugs of their make which we agree promise to be an improvement on the present K.L.G. plugs which are giving us trouble. It will take us, however, some time before we can prove that these plugs are as good as the Lodge. In the meantime we do not think it is right for cars to go out with plugs which we know are liable to give trouble. We recommend that until we have been able to prove that the Latest K.L.G. plugs submitted to us are as good as the Lodge, we should fit Lodge plugs in the Cars,

EH.
