Hsl/AD2.10.30 contd. -2- With regard to the gear box from U.S.A. he was quite interested in this and would like to see same when it arrives. It was also agreed Derby should make a scheme to fit Maybach type clutches to the gear box we have on P.I. with helical 3rd. speed. One thing is definite, R.{Sir Henry Royce} is thoroughly convinced that we must make an early move on gear boxes. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
