YOUR REF. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 2/CB 13.1.21. OUR REF. TFB/EW. Date February 3rd 1921. [Stamp: RECEIVED] [Stamp: Circular date stamp D 1921] Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, Derby. Dear Sirs, ARGEN PATENT VACUUM HEATER. We have now returned to you your Silencer and "goose-neck" which you were good enough to send us some short time ago. We have adapted our heating system to your equipment by muffling a portion of your silencer and enclosing the nozzle on your exhaust pipe in such a manner as to form a vacuum ejector. You will please note that we have prepared our apparatus entirely out of stock parts and have had no special castings whatever made for it. We think its construction will be satisfactory enough for testing and experimental work, but of course, it would have to be put in a more substantial form for the market. We shall be very interested to hear your impressions as soon as you have tried it out, and should be only too pleased to place a member of our technical staff at your disposal for any test you may be conducting. Assuring you of our best attention at all times. We are, yours faithfully, ARC AND GENERAL EQUIPMENT LIMITED. [Signature: A.{Mr Adams} Neuman-Jones] Works Manager WEB.
