EFC. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} X7535/P 8.11.28. RE BATTERY COVERS ON P & R 6-VOLT (14-EX) The arrangement for holding the wooden covers on the battery does not seem to be efficient. The screwed ferrules let into the moulding of the box have worked loose. In one case this has been caused by corrosion but in the other case the screw is quite free, yet the screwed ferrule is loose, leaving it impossible to fasten the cover on. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Mr. Booth has arranged for P & R to mould in hexagonal bushes with collars which should prevent them pulling out. EFC/W. | ||
