Thanks for BY/Cgh{W Clough}7/C24.11.33. We are pleased to note that tests are being carried out at the present time to see whether 60 watt bulbs can be used in the headlamps.

We are receiving some rather severe criticism of the inadequacy of the light of the present lamps, which, as you know, are fitted already with 48 watt bulbs. More light seems to be called for by users, particularly as the car is a very fast one and really requires as much light as the 40/50 Rolls-Royce.

Can you possibly let us have any further information as to the use of 60 watt bulbs before next Tuesday, when the matter of lamps and bulbs is to be discussed at the Sales Conference.
