X3701 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to CJ. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} R3/M20. 8. 25. X. 8080 X. 8190 X. 3701 I am still impressed that the taper of the low speed needle in the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I carburetter is too quick, unless the one in the car here is not the standard you are using. I have lately learnt that someone has altered the mesh of the filters. I consider it quite wrong. They should be the old mesh which I understand was 160 both in the rear tank outgoing filter, and the filter on the carburetter, both on the Goshawk and the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I. It is not surprising that trouble has followed this practice. Kindly send carburetter filter for the G.111. here, as this one is very coarse. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
