To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 1113 Kingsbury June 10th 1937 BENTLEY REAR AXLE No.M.2.B.V. The above axle has been to Derby for reconditioning. It was returned to Kingsbury on the 7.6.37 Invoice No.W.3422. Upon examination the drivers were found to have been hammered up on the serrations. We are returning same for your examination. I think Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ought to see them. They have not been touched by the Kingsbury Depot and they do not adopt this practice (Cricklewood do.)
