Hanbury - Head Complaints} 17. 6. 24. 40/50 HP. CHASSIS. FOUR WHEEL BRAKES. ------------------------------------- Now that it has been decided to turn the flanges off the front brake drums, it is essential that we should at once stop work on all the parts which were called for as a result of the drum carrying a flange. Amongst other parts are of course the Balance Weights which we intended to use, and the modification to the Dust Covers. We should run a light cut across the top of the Drum to true it up, which would also have the object of keeping the drum fairly well in balance. In the event of the drum being out of balance more than two ounces, reckoned on the outside diameter of the Drum, the Drums must be balanced by rivetting on the Balancing Strips at the back of the Drum.
