-2- I have noticed the tendency to demand a greatly increased radiating surface on the 40/50 in England. We have very little cause for complaint on this score even in Southern California and can leave the Allen shutters on all the year round in Springfield without trouble from boiling. This in spite of our darn foolish drum headlights which largely block up the radiator. I think it should be found out what is the water circulation of the various cars quoted, because a great majority of American cars with water pumps are virtually thermosyphon assisted by paddle. Oy.
