Following our recent conversation re Battery Ignition, Messrs. North have now had an opportunity of going more fully into the possibility of supplying a Distributor with three lobed cam and two contact levers, and state:

"For distributors and ignition coils for "6-Cylinder engine (for use with 12 volt "battery) the distributor to be provided "with a three lobed cam and two contact "levers, £2.12.0 per set for the first "250 and £2.2.0 per set for subsequent "quantities.

"The synchronising of the break by the two levers "presents a difficulty when the contacts are adjusted by "the user and this accounts for the general preference for "a single lever.

"We make single lever distributors operating up to "2500 R.P.M (equal to an engine speed of 5000) but should be "very pleased to make a distributor with two levers if you "prefer it, and trust that we may be favoured with your order "for whichever type you may decide on."

Would you like them to make up a sample?
