X1775 TO: Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} D25/DL26.6.26. The following is copy of letter from the Managing Director in regard to economy in stationery supplies :- "Will you please let me know whether you are arrang-ing to go through all stationery supplies quarterly, to satisfy yourself that there is not unnecessary waste, and generally to try to find ways and means of reducing waste in stationery, such as unnecessarily expensive binding of books, with unnecessary lettering on the back or front, using books or forms which are unnecessarily large; typists using large sheets of paper where small sheets would do; new envelopes being used for memoranda when old envelopes could be used with gummed slips attached, as we used to during the war; and any other means of reducing expenditure in numerous small ways." Please let me know so that I may report to BJ., that you are carrying this out. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} | ||
