December, 1923 Messrs. Rolls Royce, Ltd., Derby. Experimental Dept. SOLE SURREY AGENTS FOR STANDARD "CALTHORPE" CARS. Dear Sirs, I shall be glad to hear whether you have experimented with the "RECTASKID", which is a steel plate holding balls, which is fitted between the leaves of the road springs. I am contemplating having a set fitted to chassis No.15ED.{J. L. Edwards} as I am told of marvellous results in regard to improved springing, and absence of skidding. At the same time, I should not care to do this if you have had any experience that this device was not quite satisfactory. I am, Yours faithfully, Kankester Handwritten notes: X4631 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 2801 | ||
