SpectreCodename for Phantom III II Ind. Suspension Dampers.

Attached are the hysteresis curves of SpectreCodename for Phantom III 2-S-1 front dampers - request Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}9/KW.24.5.35.

The readings were taken at the normal leverage with a light spring substituted for the usual road springs. The "light" spring loads covering the range of piston movement were also ascertained, and by combining the results, a measure of piston friction in terms of lever effort was obtained - as shown by "broken" curves.

The N.S.F. was slightly heavier at each end of the stroke, whilst the O.S.F. was heaviest at the centre of the stroke.

These tests were performed after the BZ/PC bushes had been fitted into the cylinders.
