To HD.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems}

We submitted the attached instructions regarding the changing of diaphragms of all G.5 S.U. pumps after 10,000 miles and replacing them with G.5 oil silk to your fitter. He carried them out without difficulty and with the aid of a small sketch we consider they would be sufficient to enable any intelligent fitter to carry out this simple operation. I will supply the necessary wedges for use in assembly. The S.U. Company are in a position to supply diaphragms when required. The old ones to be returned to the S.U. Company, as a credit will be allowed us for them. I am writing to Mr.Skinner to get confirmation that guarantee position will hold good. When this is secured will you please issue the necessary depot sheet and instructions.
