n810. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re P.II - Wheels and Tyres. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}16/E13.2.30. I have just seen a Standardisation Sheet in reference to 20" wheel with 7" tyres for P.II, and it says that it is to obtain the advantages of a Fort tyre without its disadvantages. I was under the impression that the main reason for wishing to have 20" wheels was to get the chassis slightly lower. I should like information on this point, but what interests me most is to know what is really intended from the point of view of its standardisation on production. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
