Dear Sirs, Replying to your letter of the 8th instant reference VG/LR.{Mr Ellor} you will be pleased to know that we have already carried out tests of this nature, and the average sparking plugs voltage on our aero sparking plugs measured at 100 lbs/sq.in. cold, is approximately 8,000 volts. The type of plugs we used were, K.L.G.868D and Lodge X465D for the Merlin. K.L.G.V7/1/2/3, V9/1 and Lodge A2/2, A5B for the Kestrel. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
