Dear Sirs, We acknowledge, with thanks, your communication of the 23rd instant, reference "EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/LG", and we have taken note that you now require the maximum advance of 35° to be attained at a magneto speed of 3300 R.p.m and not 2500, as previously indicated by you. Immediately on receipt of your letter we telegraphed to our Works asking them to make the necessary alteration. We regret that it is not possible for us to put forward a machine on which the automatic advance commences to operate at a speed of 300 R.p.m., and we hope that the slightly higher speed at which the commencement of the range takes place will not unduly inconvenience you. Assuring you of every attention, We remain, dear Sirs, Yours faithfully, SCINTILLA LIMITED. (Sales Department) PWS. We do not accept liability for any injury which may be caused by fire or otherwise to any property entrusted to us for any purpose and customers' cars are only driven by our Staff at owners' risk and responsibility. All estimates and quotations are subject to our confirmation upon acceptance, and to our current conditions of tender and sale. Handwritten Note: X.4187. | ||
