Swept vol. 1 cyl. 78.02 cu.ins. or 1278 c.c.
Total swept vol. 468.12 cu.in. or 7668 c.c.
Firing order 1. 4. 2. 6. 3. 5.
Water capacity of engine only 2.7 galls.
Speed of maximum output 2500 r.p.m.
7.2° * 1° on flywheel.
1 tooth on timing makes 7 1/2° difference on flywheel.
B.M.E.P. from dyno' lift For WN/2400 dyno' only.
B.M.E.P. * 0.705 W lbs:sq.in.
110° Camshaft is used.
POWER OUTPUT OF EAC. 'V' SERIES ENGINE - Test bench results.
These tests were taken with an open cutout. The exhaust system used consisted of the standard manifolds and 2" lead pipes. These pipes run into a 3" pipe which is carried to a standard 40/50 HP. silencer. See sketch :-
From rear cyl. -> 2" dia.
From front cyl. -> 2" dia. -> 3" dia. -> To std. 40/50 HP. silencer.
