To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} 48771 R3/M24.11.25. RE. SPEED ON BROOKLANDS. X.788 X.8920 X.8771 The London to Edinburgh car of about 1911. I seem to remember did 78¼ miles on Brooklands, now with greater H.P. we only do 74. The former must have been better for windage. I think it would be good to try EAC.1. on Brooklands as soon as it is doing well. It would be so good to test if it held the road, etc. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
