To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie}

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.9/KT.13.10.33.

25 HP. CONTROLLABLE DAMPERS.

We shall require both 19.G.IV. and 18.G.IV. fitting with controllable dampers, so will you please produce the necessary parts for both chassis.

As 18.G.IV. has a front axle with axle control and the latest type dampers, we suggest that the governor system should first be tried on this car.

Instructions dealing with the fitting of the governor unit were issued under BY/HEB{H. Biraben}11/M.9.3.33. This involves moving the hand brake forward. N.Sch.3640/1 and RR.Sch. 273/4 deal with the fitting of the governor unit.

The dampers themselves will require the bellows control ends to RR.Sch.411 with the new valve to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1165.

No pipe lines have been schmed, but a pressure gauges will be required on the instrument board.
