(1) Barometer reading.
(2) Atmospheric temperature reading (dry bulb thermometer).
(3) Reading of wet bulb thermometer.

for varying atmospheric states, but for constant engine
conditions. If sufficient of these are obtained, we shall
be able to formulate not only the law of variation of horse
power with humidity, but also the true way in which the
horse power varies with atmospheric temperature and pressure.
