Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd.,
Fort Dunlop,
Erdington,
Birmingham.

For the attention of Mr. Price.

Dear Sirs,

At a Conference yesterday it was decided that we should like to have for test, a 7 1/2 x 18 'C' type tyre with variable pitch. As we have already told you, we cannot accept the noise from the first two sets of experimental tyres. If the noise from the tyres made from the new mould is no worse than that from the 7" 'C' type tyre we shall probably accept the slight decrease in comfort to get improved mileage.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
