4 1/4 LITRE BENTLEY.
RE THERMOID CLUTCH FACINGS.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} have agreed to the standardisation sheet for the above, and the only reason it has not been actually signed, is because it was not available last Tuesday.

Borg & Beck advise me per 'phone, that they can change the Rabestos for Thermoid facings on existing plates in 2/3 days per 25 plates.

We understand that there are about 70 plates in stock at Derby, and we recommend that say 50 of these be sent to Leamington at once, so that we could start fitting them on production at an early date.

Borg & Beck are writing re delivery of the 240 plates now on order.

This is important as during the last quarter there were 35 clutch complaints after the prop. shaft damper had been fitted.

It would be desirable to have the rig for testing the thrust springs available as early as possible.
