Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 5th inst. and are pleased to note you are interested in Remote Indicating Tachometers using an A.C. Generator. We are preparing revised printed matter with reference to these tachometers but this is not available at the moment. We are, however, enclosing copy of Technical description No.323 which shows our No.1 type A.C. Generator, also blueprint O.D.17070 and O.D.17359 showing the overall dimensions of our No.1 and No.2 Generators, the latter being of a much more robust pattern. The scheme consists of a Generator driven by the machine of which indication is required, together with a voltmeter calibrated to read in any special units desired, such as miles per hour, feet per second, revs per minute, etc. The price varies according to the type of drive required and the size of indicator, the most usual type of drive for this type of Generator being by means of pulleys and spring belt.
