Y6134. Ha/Wst. The following is a brief summary of the meeting held on the 8th inst:- SPECTRECodename for Phantom III. Vapour Lock. Bowering will establish a figure for the reduction in float chamber temperature which can be obtained by insulating the carburetters from the cylinder head. Swindall will co-operate on the test bed. Gearbox Stay. Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} will ensure that all our cars are fitted with the strengthened gearbox stay. SpectreCodename for Phantom III II. Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} will report on the rubber shackles and removal of the ball bearing. He should also check whether the rattle which used to be on SpectreCodename for Phantom III I, and which was supposed to disappear when the larger slipper wheel was fitted, is still absent now that the slipper wheel has been changed, and whether SpectreCodename for Phantom IIIs I & II are identical in this respect. Steering. Hardy should follow up the box with the central stud to prevent oil leaks. Starting. We are not satisfied with the starting on SpectreCodename for Phantom IIIs. Dodd should co-operate with West to make sure the electrical side is O.K., and with Swindall to clear up any difficulties which may be due to the carburetters. | ||
