R.R. 235A (100 T) (S.H. 159, 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 Contd. -3- EFC2/T13.9.21. and stated that he would probably be improving the motors in this respect. The motor we have obtained for the 40/50 takes such a heavy current for a given torque that it is not fair to test this motor on our standard volt-ampere characteristic of 1 volt drope per 50 amperes, as the result is only a comparatively poor performance. Hence, if this motor were applied to the 40/50 chassis it would be quite necessary to considerably lower the resistance of the cables and at the same time to see to it that the virtual battery resistance is of the low order.
