SIR KINGSLEY WOOD'S VISIT.

Confirming our conversation this afternoon on the telephone, the arrangement is that Sir Kingsley Wood is arriving at 12.43 p.m. accompanied by his personal attendants and from 15 to 30 Press Representatives.

Sir Kingsley and his attendants should be transported to Nightingale Road, and I think that the two best available Rolls-Royce Cars will be necessary for this. Meanwhile the Press Representatives will lunch at the Midland Hotel and will have to be transported to Nightingale Road at about two o'clock. At 4.15 the whole party is to be taken to the Osmaston Road Foundries. They will disembark just inside the main gates facing Osmaston Road and will be picked up again at about 5.0'clock outside the entrance to the Research Laboratory.

As I told you over the telephone, we are arranging for a P.III to arrive from London at 11.0'clock in time to be washed for the occasion, and the Experimental Department are loaning the Brown Wraith Car 24-G-VI.

Should there be any change in these plans I will let you know immediately.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LS.
