BODIES FOR GOSHAWK 11. CHASSIS.

Could you please arrange to have the Mulliner open touring body, which is completed, sent to Derby. We should like it sent complete with mudguards, running boards, hood, windscreen etc. etc. We consider that we can fit the open touring body quite satisfactorily at Derby. As regards the covered bodies, we will let you know later when the chassis are available.

We are still of the opinion that a totally enclosed body similar to what was fitted to the Humber Car should be ordered for the Goshawk. That is the worse type of body to exaggerate any noises or vibrations. We also think that a number of customers will demand this type of body, judging by the number of 40/50 cars we have come into the works fitted with this type of body and also by the number one sees on the road.

In the list of bodies ordered for the Goshawk, we notice that there is one all-weather body by Barkers which is being allotted for Conduit Street. Could you tell us when this body is likely to be ready and why it has been allotted for Conduit Street? We should say that the present instructions as regards secrecy of the Goshawk, bars the Goshawk beeing seen at Conduit Street.
