RE 20 HP. AND NEW 50 HP. CHASSIS.

(5) CUTOUT FOR DYNAMO - For the 20 H.P. and possibly the new 50 HP. chassis Mr. Royce proposes that the Bijur trembler regulator should be bought in quantity, and used in conjunction with our own dynamos (R.R.). This trembler regulator should be incorporated in the distributor board on the dash instead of being carried on the dynamo. The former position only requires an additional wire for the excitation of the dynamo and has not the disadvantage that the trembler might be upset by the vibrations of the engine.

The regulator is probably an apparatus which requires a considerable amount of time and experiment to get right, and for this reason it is thought that the adoption of the Bijur model will save a lot of effort which can be ill-spared.
