V3576 CHASSIS - REAR HUB & BRAKE. X 3743

Referring to the car running 10,000 miles which is for proposed departures from design, I would like to know whether you have incorporated on same the No.9. Ferodo Material which is produced without bonding wire and solid pressed under very heavy hydraulic pressure.

I would like to point out that although the material we are now using is satisfactory in use, it is extremely difficult to drill same for the rivit holes; we are in consequence making quite a large percentage of scrap due to this operation.

The matter is therefore one of distinct importance from the production Dept. point of view.
