The remarks in yours EFC6/T31.1.27 were duly communicated to North & Sons Ltd. and we are now in receipt of their reply dated 12th inst. as follows:- "We thank you for your letter with copy of report "ref.- VC.1, issued by your Electrical Experimental "Department, on magnetos Nos.83119 and 83120. "We are pleased to note your approval of various "details and with regard to the ventilating windows "we think it would be possible to do without some of "these and the question of which of these windows can "be eliminated is receiving consideration. We will "also arrange for the size of the holding down nuts "of the distributor to be increased. The fact that "the safety gaps on these magnetos have not been "increased has been noted and the matter will be "given attention in future magnetos.
